If we're all going to die, why go to school and conform to society?

I went to school (six years of university but not even a two-year degree; I changed my major five times in six years). I do not have a degree and I most definitely do not live my life the way society says I should. And I couldn't imagine being happier. My baseline emotional state is deliriously happy pretty much all the time. :)

So the answer is, you don't. You don't have to do what society tells you to do. If you choose your own path, however, bring a lot of courage with you! Living a life of non-conformity means you will fight, all the time, to be who you are, and never stop fighting.
