For me, I’m one more bubble bigger than average, so my “personal space bubble” is about the size of most people’s “social space bubble”.
If people get too close, my anxiety gets triggered and I start to lose focus on the conversation.
It gets even worse when I try to casually step back a little bit, and the person I’m talking to takes a step closer to me to compensate.
It’s like the slowest, mellowest, anti-climatic chase ever.
Yet, when the conversation’s over, I walk away thinking “My God! She almost had me!”
