Honestly, I'm a registered republican, and I voted for Clinton. This is probably going to be the least popular opinion ever stated on quora, but her duplicity, alleged criminal activity, and general dishonesty were not for personal gain.
There's a difference between using the legal system to cheat people you have a contract with for personal financial gain, and circumventing what are accepted norms to advance American interests, both foreign, and domestic. That's why as a registered Republican I still voted for Hillary.
