First off, a "pro-gun zone" really isn't a thing. Most of the US has no law against carrying arms openly (though some states do)...
That said, just because you can doesn't mean you should. Wondering around in public (by which I mean a built-up area, as opposed to in the backcountry/wilderness) with a rifle is not the behavior or a rational person. It's attention whoring. Trolling. It's behavior that will lead to hostility from others, for very good reasons, even if it's legal. It's almost certain to lead to interactions with law enforcement, and lots of other unpleasantness.
Don't do this. It's unfortunate that people can't figure out such basic social norms on their own.
