What do ASOIAF readers think about Game of Thrones skipping the Tysha storyline completely?

It was not the removal of Tysha as a character that bothered me. It was the consequences. Jaime's "betrayal" is completely left out, as is Tyrion's false confession. That majorly messes up with Jaime's redemption as well as showing how Tyrion is a product of his circumstances sometimes, a little vicious monster. The show is going out of its way to establish Tyrion as a "good guy" whose every action is justified, which frankly, he is not.

If there's anything we know about characters in GoT, it's that everyone is grey. The show follows the standard screen format of black and white; of making the villains more caricatures and the noble guys really good and is destroying what is most appealing about the story in the first place: all the characters are like you and me.
