What questions would you like to see asked at a Republican debate?

With so many candidates, it's hard to keep this from turning into War & Peace, so I've tried to limit the list. Here are some questions I'd be interested in seeing asked to each candidate:

Jeb Bush
  • You've bragged about Florida's booming economy during your years as governor. Critics say you merely presided over a huge real estate bubble and were lucky enough to leave office right before it popped. How do you respond?
  • Your brother, former President George W. Bush, left office with a 34% approval rating. Many Americans do not remember his presidency fondly and consider his foreign policy to have been very costly to the nation. You've made an effort to emphasize that you are your own man and not your brother, but a significant portion of the senior foreign policy advisors in your campaign were senior members of your brother's foreign policy team. What would you say to alleviate concerns that with the same people running the show as before, the results are likely to be the same?
Donald Trump
  • You've stated that most candidates are owned by wealthy special interests and that you're the only candidate who isn't because you don't need to take money to run your campaign. If elected, how would you improve the election and campaign finance system so that future elections don't require self-funding billionaires in order to find trustworthy candidates?
  • You've said that immediately upon taking office, you would deport the estimated 11 million immigrants who are in this country illegally. Forced mass migrations have a very tragic and brutal history, both in this country and in Europe. Please tell us with as much specificity as possible how you would accomplish this feat humanely. We're looking for details on how you would find the 11 million people, how you would go about capturing them, how you would transport them from the US back to their home countries, what you would do with American born children depending on them, and how you would mitigate the unprecedented shock to the economy after a sudden loss of 11 million workers. We realize this is a big question, so we're prepared to give you as much time as you need to answer, so long as you stay on topic.
  • You were one of the most high profile people to question President Obama's American birth, which you did loudly and repeatedly, even saying you sent private investigators to Hawaii and that we "wouldn't believe what they were finding." What did they find?
  • Do you still believe the President of the United States is actually secretly a foreigner?
Ted Cruz
  • You claimed that your plan to slash taxes to 10% would create 4.9 million new jobs within a decade. With the exception of the two Bushes, that's fewer jobs created than any president for fifty years. If most presidents were able to create more jobs than you promise, why do you think it's a good idea to try to fund government with tax rates we haven't seen since 1915, before we had any kind of social safety net, or a large military with bases, submarines, and aircraft carriers all over the world.
  • Apart from trying to stop various things from happening, what is your greatest political accomplishment?
  • One of your party's frequent criticisms of President Obama is to say that he doesn't reach out to the other side. One of the frequent criticisms of you is that you don't even get along with much of your own side. If elected president, how would you bring people together to govern effectively?
Chris Christie
  • You've said you would do a better job with the economy than President Obama has done, but last year under your leadership NJ was second to last in job creation. Why should we believe you would be better on the economy when 48 other governors were able to bring more new jobs to their states than you?
  • You shutdown a project to build a new tunnel between NY and NJ in which the majority of the cost was to be covered by the federal government. You stated that you didn't believe the project could be accomplished without NJ having to pay much more in the long run. Critics said you did it for political expediency, to show conservatives you didn't support the stimulus, and that you diverted the federal funds for the tunnel to cover the hole in the NJ budget created by your tax cuts. With commuting times for New Jerseans soon expected to double due to obsolete infrastructure, costing time, money, and productivity in the nation's largest city, how would you address this problem and similar ones across the country if elected?
Rand Paul
  • You've said you didn't like parts of the Civil Rights Act, particularly those that make it illegal for establishments such as restaurants and gas stations to discriminate based on race. Are there other pieces of civil rights legislation with which you disagree? How do you feel about the Americans with Disabilities Act, for example?
  • What do you think is the appropriate size for the U.S. military? Are there major bases that you would close? Would you reduce the number of aircraft carriers? Would you reduce the number of personnel in our armed forces? Would you reduce the military's budget? If yes for any of these questions, please be specific.
  • We've increasingly seen bipartisan interest in reforming our criminal justice system and you've been one of these voices. One of the things we don't often hear about is the president's pardon power. Most modern presidents have used this power sparingly as there is little political upside. If elected president, would you use the pardon power any differently?
  • You've often warned of the dangers of the ever growing presidential power in our country. Some presidents have said similar things in the past but taken a different view once they had a view from the Oval Office. If elected president, are there powers you would try to take away from yourself and future presidents?
Marco Rubio
  • One of the frequent criticisms your party has made about President Obama was his experience in elected office before becoming president. Prior to the presidency, he was first term US Senator and a State Senator before that. You are a first term US Senator and were a State Senator before that. Do you think President Obama had enough experience to be president and if not, why should we consider someone with a similar political background?
  • What do you think should be done to improve America's aging infrastructure?
Carly Fiorina
  • In recent debates, your foreign policy prescription for dealing with Russia has been to cut contact and raise tensions with provocative actions. Do you see any risks in this strategy and how would you mitigate them?
  • You recently said some vaccine-preventable diseases are “not contagious” and therefore not “necessary” for school-age children. Factcheck.org disagrees and reports that every immunization recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention covers a highly communicable disease. Do you still stand by this statement and if so, which ones are you referring to?
  • You've called yourself an innovator. What would you do to improve the TSA?
John Kasich
  • Unlike many other Republican governors, you've accepted "Obamacare" and expanded insurance coverage in your state. Do you think the many Republican governors that rejected the federal funds to insure their citizens made the wrong choice? What healthcare policies would you propose as president?
Ben Carson
  • Although you are a soft spoken man, you've made some extremely incendiary statements. You've called the Affordable Care Act, a healthcare reform law passed by two houses of Congress, signed by the President, and upheld by the Supreme Court, the worst thing since slavery. You've also said that to understand President Obama, Americans should read Hitler's book. What would you say to American voters who think comparing the President of the United States and his signature accomplishment to Hitler and Slavery casts doubt on whether you have the temperament, tact, maturity, and judgment to be president?
  • You're an accomplished medical doctor. You're also known to reject the central unifying principle of modern biology, evolution. How do you reconcile these two facts?
