I was a Texas Republican for most of my adult life before I left the party to become an independent after Obama's win in 2008. I've never yet voted for a Democrat, but I'm supporting Bernie Sanders.
That said, I do believe that the Republicans are watching this indictment very very closely. If the Obama Administration fails to indict Mrs. Clinton before the November election, then the Republicans in the House will start impeachment proceedings the moment Mrs. Clinton steps into the White House. At the very least, they will do this to confound her agenda. Her term in office will be under the shadow of impeachment.
In my opinion, Sanders is the only shot the Democrats have of winning the White House and getting anything done.
