Because the Quran is the name for the holy book held sacred by followers of Islam. The word “bible” just means a collection of books. It’s from the Greek and the same root gives us words like “bibliography” (a list of books) and “biblioteque” (french for library).
The correct term for the book that Christians read is The Holy Bible, because it’s a collection of books (the gospels, the epistles, the book of revelation etc) collected together and regarded as holy.
