I don’t, but it has definitely been tempting many times.
Now, I say, “Kitty, like Hello Kitty!”
I used to say, “Yes, kitty like kittycat” but that brought a lot of confused and lecherous looks. Those are not my faves, so I found an alternative.
I’ve certainly thought about saying my name is Jennifer or Yolanda or Rachel at Starbucks, or when making restaurant reservations, or whenever. But to me, it’s just not worth it.
I wasn’t born with the name Kittie - I earned it. And I’ve chosen that this is what people will call me, so I will deal with the repercussions.
