What?! The World is still here? How did you get through the nuclear holocaust? We knew it was inevitable; anybody who said it wasn’t was considered naive, uneducated, unrealistic, a Pollyanna. Two countries, the US and the Soviet Union, were moving to build 100x more nuclear weapons than needed to destroy everything. Bombs were getting bigger and bigger. Mutually assured destruction was inevitable destruction. Everyone knew that all it would take would be a minor conflict to trigger the end. It was inevitable. I didn’t expect anyone to survive. Aside from the blasts and the fires and the immediate radiation deaths, the fallout alone must have made Earth uninhabitable. Yet you even rebuilt your buildings! I recognize the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, even the White House and the Pentagon! How did you make the replacements so convincing?
