Not really, no. All it means is that more of them felt that Hillary Clinton would be the best standard-bearer and the best Presidential candidate. That is all it means--nothing more.
No, the real proof of a state's liberal, centrist, socialist, conservative or right-wing politics is not a Presidential election. It's their legislature, and it's why state elections are important whether or not somebody's running for the White House that year. California's legislature is far more blue than Utah or Idaho; that is the proof of how liberal the state is.
