In an emergency, could a fighter jet (with or without pilot inside) ram a missile (SSM or ICBM) to prevent it from reaching its target?

The only part of an ICBM's trajectory where a jet could hope to ram it is in the first phase of ascent.
After that, it moves too fast. When it comes down from the apex, it can reach 5,000 MPH, a jet won't be able to intercept at this speed.
