What do you think about Iranians or Persian people (not politicians)?

I live part-time in "Tehrangeles," so if I am in a group of 10 locals, then it's likely one or more of them is of Iranian descent.  And you might be hard pressed to pick them out. 

I most often think about Persian influence on California culture when I am hungry and want healthy, tasty food.   I am particularly fond of  Fesenjān, Kabab koobideh and Kabab barg.
