Yes Russia dosen’t care but it works in favor of Russia. In fact it is better for Russia as it would continue to be work with Syria and finally control ME, without US intervention.
Russia has gained economically and politically being in Syria. This was downfall of US foreign policy.
Orders for military aircrafts and equipments are flooding from all over the world, which will help Russia come of out economic depression and losses due to sanctions.
US suspending talks with Russia Syria does not care.
