Which Republican presidential candidate is actually the most moderate?

Currently, it's John Kasich.  He's actually so moderate (though not on all issues) that he has to pretend to swing way to the right to look legitimate to the conservative base.  Mitt Romney did the same thing in 2012.  Kasich has slipped up a few times on things like abortion and gay marriage and had to back pedal to keep from being DQ'ed altogether.  A Kasich-Rubio candidacy (or visa-versa) is probably the Republican's best shot at getting into the White House in 2016.  I doubt that'll be the ticket that runs. But the GOP should take heed of the fact that a majority of Americans aren't conservative ideologues and will need to be convinced to vote for their guy (choosing candidates from the two big swing states wouldn't hurt either).
