"I don't believe in saviours. I believe men of talent have a part to play in the war to come."
He is talking about the possibility of Daenerys and her dragons arriving at Westeros and the war that will follow it. I don't think Arya will have a significant role to play in that particular war. If anything, she will be a part of the war for the dawn - against the Others, but we have no idea in what way.
As for the scene with Needle, it shows that no matter how much training she is going to get to become "No One", at her core she will remain as Arya Stark.
"It's just a sword," she said, aloud this time... but it wasn't.
Needle was Robb and Bran and Rickon, her mother and her father, even Sansa. Needle was Winterfell’s grey walls, and the laughter of its people. Needle was the summer snows, Old Nan’s stories, the heart tree with its red leaves and scary face, the warm earthy smell of the glass gardens, the sound of the north wind rattling the shutters of her room. Needle was Jon Snow’s smile. He used to mess my hair and call me "little sister," she remembered, and suddenly there were tears in her eyes.
That sword is her very identity, and for now it's hiding deep inside Braavos.
