Why aren't Hillary Clinton supporters scared of terrorists immigrating to the United States?

A conservative think tank recently ran the probability numbers of an American being killed in a terrorist attack. I have put the probability numbers in bold below.

Including those murdered in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 (9/11), the chance of an American perishing in a terrorist attack on U.S. soil that was committed by a foreigner over the 41-year period studied here is 1 in 3.6 million per year. The hazard posed by foreigners who entered on different visa categories varies considerably. For instance, the chance of an American being murdered in a terrorist attack caused by a refugee is 1 in 3.64 billion per year while the chance of being murdered in an attack committed by an illegal immigrant is an astronomical 1 in 10.9 billion per year. By contrast, the chance of being murdered by a tourist on a B visa, the most common tourist visa, is 1 in 3.9 million per year. Any government response to terrorism must take account of the wide range of hazards posed by foreign-born terrorists who entered under various visa categories.

Terrorism and Immigration: A Risk Analysis

So a conservative think tank says that the risk of dying in a terrorist attack committed by a foreigner is 1 in 3.6 million and if they are on a tourist visa, it is 1 in 3.9 million. Illegal immigrants and refugees are in the billions.

The data says if there is an issue, then screening those who get tourist visas better is the real issue. Immigration and refugees have nothing to do with it. However, let's put this into perspective.

The odds of an American being killed in an assault by a firearm: 1 in 300.

The 25 Most Common Causes of Death

Did you notice that there isn't a million or billion after that number? That doesn't even include the accidental gun deaths.

To answer your question, liberals don't spend a great deal of time worrying about pretend issues created by the conservative media that are intended to make white people afraid of brown people.

The real question is why aren't conservatives more concerned about gun laws?
