It’s Election Day—and Uber and Lyft want you to leave your car at home.
Uber teamed up with Google to provide an in-app feature that will help you find your polling place. An “Uber to Your Polling Place” option will give background on your precinct’s hours and who’s on the ballot.

As part of our ongoing campaign to encourage users to vote, Uber is teaming up with Google to launch a special in-app feature on November 8th that will help you locate your polling location and then seamlessly request a ride with just a push of a button.
Given the important decision people around the country will make on November 8th, we wanted to make getting to and from your polling place easier than ever.
Uber’s Election Day deal offers a $20 discount for new users who enter the promo code “VOTETODAY.”

With Lyft, you don’t have to be a new user to take advantage of a 45 percent discount on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The 45 number aims to honor the individual who will be elected as our 45th president. New users can use the promo code “NOVEMBER8TH” to receive a $5 discount their first 10 rides.
