Amazing Mind-Blowing Facts: What is the most unlikely story that is actually true?

About 30 years ago, I called an 800 number inquiring about a Real Estate loan. A couple minutes into the conversation, the guy at the other end asks: you have an accent, where are you from? I replied that I was born in the Middle East but from a young age (elementary school) I had moved to Italy and grew up there. We continued talking about rates and loan programs and then he asks: what country were you born?
Me: I was born in Syria
Him: what a coincidence, my parents were born in Syria.
Me: but I'm not Arab, I'm Armenian.
Him: my parents are Armenian too. What city were you born?
Me: it's a very small village, I'm sure you've never heard about it. It's not even on the maps.
Him: don't tell me it's Kessab.
Me: yes
Him: what's your name?
Me: Vic Soghomonian
Him: no way. I'm Steve C.
My mom and his mom were 2nd cousins. We knew about each other, each other's parents, name of siblings etc but we had never met. I was born in Syria and he was born in Los Angeles.
