No. That’s not how our government works.
“Trump” isn’t going to build a wall. 27 different state and federal agencies are going to build a wall. Each of those agencies will have 3–5 independent contracting companies working on various portions, and each of those will sub-contract out various portions to several other companies.
In the end, hundreds or maybe even thousands of companies will be involved with the building of the wall. Costs will balloon, as they invariably do with jobs of this kind, to several times the initial estimate.
The wall will be built anyway, and you and I will pay for it.
This is how our government functions.
