The “brainwashing” of children by Liberals really boils down to this:
Many school teachers at all levels are Liberals. In the course of teaching children, they teach the children to think independently and to question things rather than blindly accept things.
Many conservatives believe that teaching children to think independently and to question things rather than blindly accept things is a bad thing because it causes unrest in society when people don’t follow the cultural rules established by conservatives.
An example:
Billy goes to school and in a class discussion says “Asian kids are always better at math than other kids”, quoting his father’s dinner table conversation. The teacher says, “Okay we’ll all do a class assignment, Your homework tonight will be to bring in any information you can find that proves that Asian kids are better than non-Asian kids at math”.
The next day, the children compare the information they could find and the conclusion is that Asian kids are no better at math than non-Asian kids.
That night, the topic comes up at dinner and Billy says, “Daddy, you’re wrong. We learned at school today that Asian kids are no more better at math than non-Asian kids”.
Billy’s father then goes to the school, demanding that Billy’s teacher be reprimanded for “Liberal brainwashing of the children in her class” because no child should be taught in school anything that would cause them to question their parents’ beliefs or to disagree with their parents. When the principal refuses, Billy’s father starts an Internet campaign to have both the teacher and the school principal fired for “Liberal brainwashing of the children in the school”.
