I am triple majoring in math, computer science and physics because these are my passions. Is this a bad idea?

The undergraduate years are a unique time to explore and delve into multiple areas of knowledge that intrigue you. On-the-job learning relates to what your employer needs you to know. Graduate school focuses on a narrower range of topics.

If you can afford to take the extra year to do the other majors, and if you're excited about doing so, then go for it. You'll likely never have this opportunity again to pursue broad learning for its own sake. And you have decades of career time ahead....  no need to rush there immediately.

But do take the time to do an internship or research placement  during the summer or the academic year. Go to some of the research talks the departments offer and talk to your profs about them (including the parts you have questions about). Get the full undergraduate experience, not just time in the classroom.
