Churchill was a well-educated, highly articulate member of the élite, and something of a snob. He would have regarded Trump as dangerous, ignorant, incapable of speaking coherently, and a jumped-up buffoon who is seeking a position above his station or his intellect.
I think Churchill had more respect for his Labour opponents than he would have had for Trump; they at least came from the honest working class. Trump’s record of bankruptcies and unpaid creditors would have disgusted Churchill, who, whatever his other foibles, believed in integrity.
