Google goes emoji

At long last, Google is becoming emoji friendly.

Simply tweet an emoji and use the @Google handle to mention the company, and you’ll receive listings for nearby locations and searches that are relevant to the emoji you use.

For example, tweet the hamburger emoji and mention @Google on Twitter, and it will send you a list of nearby restaurants that serve hamburgers.

VIRTUAL SUMMIT: Use SharePoint and Office 365 to create better corporate communications.

This week, Google made available 200 emoji Tweet functions. Each yields different local search results.
