Those rituals might include watching "A Christmas Story," "Home Alone" or "It's a Wonderful Life" for the 30th time. You might look forward to leaving Santa (and his human-sized elves) treats by the chimney. Others build snowmen, go sledding, listen to their Spotify Christmas playlists on repeat or try karaoke at their company holiday parties after having too much eggnog.
We have some traditions of our own here at PR Daily, and we're going to indulge in one again this year: Counting down the stories that you read and shared the most throughout 2016.
That countdown will kick off Tuesday, Dec. 27 and last through Friday, Dec. 30.
As we finish 2016, we want to thank you, our readers, for making PR Daily more than just a site for news about brand managers' responses to crises, new social media features and tips, video content guides and corporate chiefs sticking their feet in their mouths. It's a vibrant community of savvy, smart professionals, all of whom have something to share. Whether you interact with us on Facebook, in our Twitter #RaganChat, through our comments section or in emailed story pitches, we couldn't be happier PR Daily's audience is who they are.
RELATED: Innovate or disappear. Sharpen your PR prowess with pros from CNN Digital, The New York Times and more.
This was a year of loss, as we said goodbye to Prince, David Bowie, Harper Lee, Alan Rickman, John Glenn, Arnold Palmer and others. It was also a year that played host to a turbulent election season, many PR pitches, cyber attacks and marketing fails. For every story that made us cringe, there was an article which excited us. We look forward to learning and growing more in the year ahead with our readers.
Here's hoping for a bright 2016.
Cheers.
