Possibly some particular movies, but not overall. She exercised an enormous amount of control over the filming. Most authors are lucky to get a film made of their book at all, and have no control, but Rowling knew that she had such a huge hit she could call the shots. All the reports I’ve seen have said that she’s happy with the results.
I’ve heard a rumor, which I’d love to have confirmed or denied, that Steven Spielberg was considered, but he wanted to move the story to the United States and cast an American as Harry. This sounds like typical crass commercial reasoning, and of course it would have utterly destroyed the feeling of the story. In any case, it was a non-starter.
