Anti-vaxxers like to use this “enforced by law” thing as fear mongering. They picture jack-booted thugs storming into kindergarten, holding wailing children down and injecting them with horse syringes.
Flapdoodle.
As far as the law goes, there should be no exemptions for vaccines except valid medical ones. (There are people who can’t get vaccinated, and who depend on the rest of us to maintain herd immunity.) Religious and philosophical exemptions should be outlawed.
Anybody who refuses vaccinations for their children is an abuser. Do you think the law should intervene when parents beat or starve their children? Because this is exactly the same thing. Withholding medical care is assault.
