Every morning I drive up this road to work.
I give myself 30 minutes, plenty of time.
But occasionally, something happens and I'm running a few minutes late.
Without fail, the one time I need to get to work faster than usual, there is someone in that left lane driving under the speed limit, adjacent to a car in the right lane and thus impossible to pass.
If there is one thing I want the world to know: On two lane roads, one lane is for passing. If you aren’t passing, move.
So please, please, get off your cell phone. Get the dog off your lap. Stop singing karaoke. Stop slowing down to stare at things. Stop taking selfies. Stop updating your facebook. Stop doing your makeup. Stop shaving. And notice the line of cars behind you trying to pass.
Please. Thank you.
