Why is there no bone flavored dog food?

Because dogs can’t use credit cards.

If dogs bought their own food, foods would be labelled “Rancid road kill,” “squished squirrel,” and, wait for it…. “Cat poop.”

But that’s not what’s in the store, is it? What gets in the store is what people think their dogs want to eat, and that is in part a function of what dog food companies train us to think our dogs want to eat.

Salmon? Heck, that involves getting wet, and what would my dogs want to get wet when there’s a litter box full of fresh cat poop right there in the hallway?

Nope, dog food is marketed to people who have credit cards and car keys, and then only indirectly addressed to the dogs who actually eat it.
