If Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are the nominees for their respective parties, what will happen if Hillary gets convicted a month before election?

Robin Hubbard nailed it.

If the FBI has found evidence of a possible crime, and turned that evidence over to the appropriate prosecuting attorney tomorrow, May 12, 2016, and the prosecuting attorney impaneled a Grand Jury which issued an indictment and all the necessary pre-trial motions were dealt with and a jury trial held, Hillary Clinton would already have been sworn in as President (assuming she gets the Democratic nomination and defeats Trump in the General Election).

Assuming she actually committed a crime regarding the e-mail situation (which she didn't, as far as any actual evidence made public indicates), she'd might well be into her second term as President before she even saw a courtroom.
